New Book Coming Soon . . .

The Pioneers will soon be publishing a new book titled  A Companion to Soquel History.  The book will be a mini encyclopedia of people, places, and events that shaped our town's past.  The 300-page book will have over 500 entries, over 40 illustrations, and include maps, a self-guided walking tour, and many other features.  We expect to publish it in late 2026.

“Everything to know and love about Soquel is here. This is a trustworthy companion, meticulously researched and polished, with a generous sprinkling of stories rarely heard before. Readers will want to keep this book close at hand.” --Carolyn Swift, former director, Capitola Historical Museum
